MC SHETE, born Akinsete Olakunle, on the 9th of November, grew up in Ibadan. He had his secondary education at Christ Ambassadors International College, Ibadan, then later moved to Model High School, Oyo State. He is presently furthering his education as an undergraduate at the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife where he is dominating the comedy scene, and making waves as an MC. He has performed at various shows and has won numerous comedy competitions which include, but are not limited to ‘Nescafe Battle of Talents’ and the ‘Amstel Malta Showtime’ Competition where he was 1st runner-up .

MC SHETE is fast becoming global and has successfully organized two comedy shows on Obafemi Awolowo University Campus and at Pleasure Summit, G.R.A Ibadan. The fast-rising stand-up comedian was nominated for two categories (comedian of the year and MC of the year) at the ACE inter-campus awards. He has unfailingly satisfied fans and clients at corporate events, social functions, shows and other stage performances due to his impressive repertoire of jokes which transcends a very wide range of fields.
